Guwahati, Aug 2 (IBNS): Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday hinted that the Congress-led Madhya Pradesh government may be changed soon.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in Guwahati that, the Congress has started dirty politics and BJP will give its answer.

“Even as the Congress didn’t get a majority, BJP had not staked claim to form the government. We had got maximum vote share, but we were low in seats compared to Congress. But the Congress has started dirty politics and BJP will give its answer. BJP will not let live with this dirtiness,” the former Madhya Pradesh CM said.

He further said that the Congress had toppled the Karnataka government.

The former Madhya Pradesh CM said that, from the very first day, Siddaramaiah didn’t want HD Kumaraswamy to continue as the Chief Minister.

“Kumaraswamy was crying from the very first day as the Congress was not letting him continue. He proved to be the most crying CM," he alleged.

“Congress is a deceitful party. It continues since the regime of Chaudhary Charan Singh, Chandrashekhar to Devegowda, and lastly in Karnataka. BJP will not topple the Madhya Pradesh government. If the Congressmen fight each other and topple the government, we are not responsible for it,” Chouhan said.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan also congratulated the Modi government for passing the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill, 2019 in Rajya Sabha.
