Kolkata, July 13 (IBNS): In another shocking incident at Kolkata Metro, a 40-year old passenger died by falling on the track after a running train dragged him with his hand stuck in the doors.

The incident occurred between Park Street and Maidan metro stations at 6:42 pm.

The train started running dragging the passenger even after his hand was stuck in the doors.

The deceased has been identified as Sajal Kanjilal, a resident of Kasba Post Office, local media reported.

Furious metro co-passengers vented their anger against the security men and raised question upon their securities.

Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim, who had rushed to the spot immediately, said: "We will probe the entire incident. Actions will be taken if anyone is found guilty."
