Kashmir: Militant hideout busted, arms and ammunition recovered
Srinagar, May 8 (UNI) Security forces on Wednesday busted a militant hideout and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off about a militant hideout, security forces and state police launched a search operation at Gagangeer, Ganderbal.
After a long search, security forces unearthed a hideout, they said, adding that large cache of arms and ammunition were recovered.
Details about the recovery are awaited, they said, adding that no one was arrested.
