Individual freedom prevails in India: Shiv Sena flays Congress

India Blooms News Service | @indiablooms | 06 Apr 2019, 10:56 am

Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) Taking a dig at Congress, the Shiv Sena on Saturday said that after making several statements against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress president Rahul Gandhi is still 'roaming free', which is a clear epitome of unscathed freedom of expression.

Through its mouthpiece Saamna,Shiv Sena dismissed the allegations that the Freedom of Expression has diminished under the BJP-led central government and underscored that it prevails under NDA's rule.

The editorial reads that Rahul Gandhi said that 'Chowkidar' will be jailed if Congress is voted to power hence if there was "no individual freedom in India then how he is roaming freely even after saying such a thing publicly."

It further asked that how the earlier slogan 'Indira is India' goes down well with the people who say 'Modi is not India'.
