Six lakh flex boards removed in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 3 (UNI) As part of green protocol, more than six lakh flex boards have been removed after the model code of conduct came into force following the announcement of Lok Sabha election in Kerala.

Speaking at a function here, Kerala Chief Electoral Officer Teekaram Meena on Wednesday said flex boards and other plastic materials were removed from all over the State by the election officials.


He also urged political parties to refrain from using flex boards during the election campaigns.


The CEO also requested political parties to adhere to the green protocol during their election campaigns.
