Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) Rachakonda Police have busted an international kidney racket by arresting three people.

Police seized one Laptop, 7 Mobile Phones, one Tablet, one Laser printer-cum-scanner, Rubber Stamps, 3 Debit Cards, 3 Credit Cards and an Indian Passport of one Amrish Prathap.

The sleuths of Cyber Crimes, Rachakonda arrested Amrish Prathap (33) of Noida, UP, who is the Kingpin of this heinous organized crime along with his two associates (Dr) Rithika Singh (37) of Delhi and Sandeep kumar (30) of Noida and after producing them in Delhi Court brought them to Hyderabad on a transit remand, police said.

A complaint was lodged by a victim on February 5, 2019 and stated that, “In the month of July 2018 he has seen a post on Facebook under the caption “Kidney needed in India” posted with a profile name ‘Rohan Malik’. Taking advantage of social media, On seeing the post, he contacted Rohan Malik through his Whatsapp number #9650121463 who induced the victim that they will pay him huge sum of money if he sells his kidney, by providing him expenses for transportation, accommodation, documentation and medical examinations.

So as to meet his financial crisis, the victim accepted the offer of Rohan Malik who promised to pay him Rs 20 lakh and considering the luring offer, on July 20, 2018, the victim went to Delhi, where he was received by Malik, who accommodated him in Radission Hotel at Sector-66, Noida, and stayed there for 7 days after attending all the required medical examinations.

After which Malik took off his Original passport and sent him back to his home. After reaching Hyderabad he was informed to attend for the slot booking at RPO Begumpet to get PCC (Police Clearance certificate) so as to proceed to Abroad.

On the same day ( on July 27) , he booked a train ticket for Rajadhani express to proceed to Delhi for cross match test with the patient. The complainant went to Delhi and attended the cross-match test and later sent him back home.

On July 31, again, he went to Delhi by train and stayed at the Same Redisston Hotel till preparation of the documents. On August 11, Malik informed the Victim about his travel to Turkey for surgery and removal of the complainants kidney.

On August 30 they took him to Hotel Lemon Tree where the complainant was made to meet one Dr Rithika Singh, of Delhi who introduced him to the patient ‘Gagan Agarwal’ and his family members.

Before travelling to Turkey Malik and Dr Rithika Singh prepared forged documents and purported them to be genuine and legal so as to conduct surgery at Kent Hospital Izmir Turkey, Police said.
