Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 18 (UNI) Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday strongly condemned the brutal murder of two Youth Congress activists in Kasargod district on Sunday night.

"The brutal murder of two members of our Youth Congress family in Kasargod, Kerala, is shocking'.

'The Congress Party stands in solidarity with the families of these two young men and I send them my deepest condolences. We will not rest till the murderers are brought to justice," Rahul said in a tweet.

In a tweet, Dr Shashi Tharoor MP, representing Lok Sabha seat here said, "Shocked by brutal murder of two @IYCKerala activists, SarathLal & Kripesh, in Kasargod."

"Politics of violence practised, esp. in N.Kerala, by the @PIMKerala, has crossed all limits. It is well past time for @vijayanpinarayi to rein them in. I share the pain of the boys' families," Mr Tharoor said.

Several leaders including KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran also expressed shock and pain over the brutal murder of YC workers allegedly by CPI (M) activists.

The CPI-M is killing their political opponents showing their fascist nature, which is totally undemocratic, he added.
