Gautam Kundu pays visit to ED, says he was not summoned

Kolkata, Sept 25 (IBNS): Rose Valley Group Chairman Gautam Kundu on Thursday paid visit to Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Salt Lake in Kolkata but denied that he was summoned by the agency.
After paying visit to ED office, Gautam Kundu claimed that till date he has not been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. 
 
He reiterated that summons had been issued to few of his employees like, Tarun Kumar Panda who is the accountant with Brand Value Communications, a Rose Valley Group company deals with the channel business. 
 
On being asked, why he was here then, Kundu clarified that he came here to meet some officials regarding the de-freezing of bank accounts.  
 
He said he visited the ED Office today to request senior officer Manoj Kumar not to freeze the salary accounts of his employees so that more than 10,000 employees are not left deprived of their salaries just before the puja. 
 
He further clarified to the media that, he has been asked to submit a requisition for the same by ED officer, following which he assured the officer, that in case required he will appear before the ED if they summon him to do so. 
 
Recently, ED has sealed more than 2500 bank accounts of Rose Valley which includes the salary accounts of more than 10,000 employees of Rose Valley. Mr Kundu had Incidentally Mr Kundu had already appeared before the SFIO & Shyamal Sen Commission as and when he was asked to appear.
