Exit polls predict Congress win in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi, Dec 7 (IBNS): Bringing bad news for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), all major exit polls on Friday predicted a win for the Congress party in Chhattisgarh.

According to India Today-Axis My India exit polls, Congress is expected to win 55-65 seats of the 90-member assembly. As per their enumeration, the BJP will manage 21-31 seats.

The Republic-C-Voters has claimed that the Congress will bag 40-50 assembly seats and BJP will get 35-43.

News Nation has predicted 40-44 for Congress and 38-42 seats for BJP.

However, the India Today-My India exit polls claimed that BJP will win once again in the state by bagging 40-52 seats while Congress is expected get 32-38 seats of the 90-member assembly.

Times Now-CNX has also come out with similar results with BJP registering a win by managing 46 seats and Congress securing only 35 of them.

The BJP is currently ruling the state of Chhattisgarh.
