Rahul Gandhi to interact with business community on second day of his MP visit

Indore, Oct 30 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who is presently in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, will interact with the business community and professionals of Indore on the second and last day of his state visit on Tuesday.

Rahul began his Madhya Pradesh trip on Monday.

Highlights of day 1 of Rahul Gandhi's state visit:

Attacking the ruling party in Ujjain on Monday, Rahul said the BJP's religion is corruption. 

From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Congress chief on Monday did not spare anyone while attacking the BJP over its alleged scams.

Attempting to beware voters, Rahul said the BJP, if comes to power, "will steal everything".

Rahul even promised the voters that the Congress, if voted to power, will waive farm loans, a step not taken by the BJP government.

"Modi has waived loans of businessmen but not farmers. Congress Chief Minister will waive farm loans. If he does not, a second Congress Chief Minister will do," the Congress chief stated while trying to stick to his promises.

Rahul also alleged that Jaitley allowed fugitive businessmen Nirav Modi, Vijay Mallya to flee from the country after doings scams.

The Congress supremo had also visited Mahakaleshwar Temple.

Congress-BJP face-off in state polls:

The state polls will be held on Nov 28. The counting of votes will take place on Dec 11.

The Congress, under the leadership of state chief Kamal Nath and leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, is eyeing on to wrest power in the state.

The Madhya Pradesh poll is crucial for both the Congress and ruling BJP ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in few months' time.
