Jaipur, Oct 9 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday will be in poll-bound Rajasthan to take forward his party's campaign in the state.

Rahul will be interacting with the people of Dholpur and Bharatpur.

The assembly polls in Rajasthan will be held on Dec 7. The counting of votes will take place on 11th of the same month.

The Congress, led by its state chief Sachin Pilot, is trying to defeat the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in few months' time.

A recent poll survey has predicted the Congress will go past BJP to wrest power in the state in the upcoming Assembly election.
