Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar resumes work

New Delhi, June 15 (IBNS): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Friday resumed work at his office in the state secretariat.

He was on a sick leave for nearly three months.

The Chief Minister was undergoing treatment in the US for a pancreatic ailment for the past couple of months, reports said.

On Friday, after joining his office, the Chief Minister tweeted: " As I resume my work, I thank all my well wishers for the prayers and blessings which gave me much needed support and strength to recover."

The GOA CM's official Twitter page also shared images where Manohar Parrikar
could be seen joining his office.

" Chief Minister @manoharparrikar resumes work from his office at Secretariat, Porvorim," it tweeted.

Parrikar, meanwhile, Mahalaxmi Temple in Panaji city to seek blessings of the goddess.
