PM Modi, President Kovind wish people on Holi

New Delhi, Mar 2 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind have wished all countrymen on the occasion of Holi, which is also known as the festival of colors.

Modi has put up a tweet which reads, "Wishing everyone a Happy Holi!"

President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, "Greetings and best wishes to fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Holi. The festival of colours, Holi is a celebration of harmony in our society. May it bring peace, joy and prosperity to everyone’s lives."

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu too tweeted to wish the countrymen. He said on Twitter, "May this festival paint our lives with the bright hues of peace, harmony, prosperity and happiness."

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in a tweet, "Heartiest greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Holi. May the colours of peace and happiness fill your lives."
