Most wanted Bangladeshi terrorists launches new terror group in Eastern India, MHA issues caution notice

Guwahati, Feb 10 (IBNS): Bangladesh’s two most wanted terrorists have been launched a new terror organization in eastern India and started terror drive in the region.

Eying to set up base in Assam, West Bengal, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, two most wanted terrorists of Bangladesh and National Investigation Agency (NIA) Salehuddin Salehin and Jahidul Islam alias Bumaro Mijan recently launched a new chapter of Jamat-ul-Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) in India by naming Jamat-ul-Mujahidin India (JMI).

Indian intelligence recently submitted a report to the Union Home ministry and cautioned that the new organization has already set up base in Assam and West Bengal.

A top source of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) said that, several youths and minor boys from Assam, West Bengal, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura are in touch with the new terrorist group.

Salehuddin Salehin recently disclosed that he was about to launch the new chapter of JMB in India specially in the eastern part in its media unit Sahm Al Hind.

Meanwhile, Union Home Ministry alerted the north eastern Indian states and West Bengal following IB inputs and asked them to take appropriate measures.

On the other hand, a top official of Assam Police said that Assam Police has already asked some districts bordering with Bangladesh and West Bengal to increase vigilance.

“We have taken the matter very seriously. Earlier security forces had cracked down JMB module in Assam and arrested few members, supporters from different parts of the state,” the top Assam cop said.

Meanwhile Guwahati city police has issued alert notice following IB inputs about probable entry of Bangladeshi terrorist in the capital city of Assam.
