BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh says 'Hindustan is for Hindus'
Muzzafarnagar, Jan 2 (IBNS): BJP legislator from Uttar Pradesh Vikram Saini has triggered a freash controversy when he said India is a land of 'Hindus' as it is called 'Hindustan'.
Speaking at an event here recently, the BJP lawmaker said:"I'm a hardcore believer in Hindutva."
"This nation is called Hindustan as it is a nation for Hindus," he said.
He said: "Today, everyone is getting benefits without any kind of discrimination."
Muzaffarnagar witnessed riots in 2013. It had claimed 60 lives.
