Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Nov 4 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the Congress has conceded defeat in Himachal Pradesh as its senior leaders have left the field leaving Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh to his fate.

Addressing a rally at Raitt in Himachal Pradesh,  Modi launched a blistering attack on the Congress over corruption, saying the people of the country will not trust the party for the coming 100 years.

"I have heard that the Congress has lost the trust of its own leaders and is looking for rebels in other parties," he said.

The PM said the state of affairs the Congress has gone to such a stage that even its Chief Ministerial candidate (VirBhadra Singh) is out on bail.

The CBI has been on a probe into an alleged scam involving Singh.

Modi also asked the people to get rid of the Congress  by ensuring a three-fourths majority to the BJP in the November 9 Assembly election.

"I have heard that the Congress has lost the trust of its own leaders and is looking for rebels in other parties."

"I haven't come here to ask you to make the BJP win. I have come here to ask you to give it a three-fourths majority," he declared.

In a reference to the Congress' decision to mark the first anniversary of the demonetisation as black day, Modi  said the opposition party would observe "blackmoney day" and burn his effigies as it was angry with his fight against corruption.

"They are going to celebrate   November eight  as the black day and burn my effigies. They don't know Modi is a disciple of Sardar Patel and won't be cowed down."
