India Blooms News Service | | 25 Oct 2017, 04:19 pm
New Delhi, Oct 25 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday announced that the BJP will observe Nov 8 as Anti Black Money Day.

"The BJP will observe Nov 8 as Anti Black Money Day," Jaitley said while addressing a press conference here.

Interestingly, the Opposition had decided to mark Nov 8 as Black day.

Nov 8 will mark one year completion of the decision taken by the Centre to ban old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.

Jaitley said : "We aim to make India an anti-corruption nation."

Jaitley said demonetisation was a huge step to make India a less cash economy.

He said top leaders of the party will travel across India to promote 'Anti-Black Money Day'.
