Pakistan violates ceasefire twice along LoC, Indian forces retaliate

Srinagar, June 11 (IBNS): Pakistan on Sunday carried out two ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, no injuries or damages have been caused.

In the first incident of ceasefire violation along the the Line of Control in Bhimber Gali sector of Rajouri district at 9.45 am, the Indian Army reportedly retaliated back.

The Indian army later in the day said that the operation is still on.

The violation took place in Ramgarh sector, 157 km from Bhimber Gali along the International Border.

According to army statement, Pakistan forces used small arms and automatics.

The second violation was retaliated back the Border Security Force (BSF).

On Saturday, the Indian Army informed that the security forces have killed 13 armed infiltrators in 96 hours along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
