Kabul: Triple blasts hit funeral ceremony, 6 killed

Kabul, June 3 (IBNS): At least six people were killed and several others were injured as three blasts rocked Afghanistan capital Kabul city on Saturday during a funeral ceremony, media reports said.

The funeral prayer for the son of Meshrano Jirga deputy chairman, Mohammad Alam Ezedyar, was attacked in Badam Bagh area of Kabul. Ezedyar’s son was killed along with several others during yesterday’s protest demonstration,  Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

The funeral was reportedly attended by government officials and parliament members.

Bodies of two suspected suicide attackers have been recovered from the scene of the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

This week, another attack in Kabul had claimed 90 lives.
