Bengaluru: Wife arrested for shooting husband thrice following argument

Bengaluru, May 6 (IBNS): Law enforcers have arrested a Bengaluru based businessman's wife after she allegedly open fired at her husband at a busy junction near Electronics City on Friday evening, reports said.

The victim, identified as M R Sairam, is battling for his life, a report in The Hindu read.

Police have said that the woman shot her husband while he was getting out of the car he was driving.

Further reports revealed that the gun used had a valid licence.

"She is in custody, but is refusing to cooperate with the investigation. She is not answering our questions. We don’t know what they were arguing over," a police officer was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

An attempt to murder charge has been levied on the lady.
