Panchayats are effective ways to fulfil aspirations of rural India says PM Modi

New Delhi, pr 24 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, greeted the people serving the nation through Panchayati Raj institutions across India while the day was commemorated on April 24 across the country.

In his message the Prime Minister said, “On National Panchayati Raj Day I salute all the hardworking individuals serving people through Panchayati Raj institutions across India.

Panchayats are effective ways to fulfil aspirations of people in rural India. They are playing a vital role in India's transformation.

Through all-round progress and grassroots level participation, our Government is working towards making 'Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday’ a reality.”

Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of the State - Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare & Panchayati Raj and BJP - National Vice President, tweeted in Hindi saying that the development of villages will help India's development through Panchayati Raj.

He was in Lucknow to celebrate the National Panchayati Raj Day with the state's chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior leaders.

Tweeted Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, "Gram Swaraj important for ensuring Good Governance.Developed villages will make a developed Bharat.My greetings on #PanchayatiRajDay."
