BRICS: Modi to leave for Brazil tomorrow

New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Brazil to attend the upcoming BRICS summit on Sunday.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin  earlier this week said the Prime Minister will make a transit stop in Germany.

The BRICS summit will be Modi's first multilateral meeting since taking over as the Prime Minister of the country.

He will meet world leaders during the summit.

The BRICS nations comprise of  Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa.

The summit will be held in Fortaleza and Brasilia cities in Brazil.
