Sonia Gandhi wishes nation on Milad-un-Nabi

New Delhi, Dec 12 (IBNS): Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday wished people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.

The Congress party tweeted: "Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi has extended her greetings on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi."

Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid is observance of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

It is celebrated on the 12th day of Islamic month Rabi' al-awwal.
