India Blooms News Service | | 09 Oct 2016, 01:31 pm
New Delhi, Oct 9 (IBNS): A radioactive leak from the cargo area of Delhi airport (IGI) was reported on Sunday morning, NDTV reported.

However, the situation is under control, the news network quoted fire services.

A test is been conducted by specialist teams after the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board confirmed that a package is indeed leaking.

A National Disaster Management Authority team will also join the others there, reports said.

The area has been cordoned off, following the isolation of the package.
