New Delhi, Sept 12 (IBNS): The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday suspended its MLA Devinder Sehrawat days after he wrote to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accusing some party leaders in Punjab of exploiting women in return for election tickets.

The decision to suspend the lawmaker was taken by the disciplinary committee of AAP's Delhi unit.

Following his suspension, Sehrawat took it to Twitter and posted: "Singer Shama Bhatt Accuses AAP Candidate Dev Mann of Molestation, Party needs serious rethink & sensitiveness on women exploitation reports."

Targeting Kejriwal, he wrote: "Repeated Reports of Molestation of women and sexual abuse,Ring Master Kejriwal obliging his lecherous cotrie & adding more such candidates."

In another tweet Sehrawat posted: "If you have the courage, severe the ties and expel. With 67 MLAs you could not perform, You dont have it in you- So Get out of the Way...."
