Two special police officers reportedly resign in J&K

Srinagar, Aug 23 (IBNS): Two police officers working for a special operation group in Jammu and Kashmir have reportedly resigned from their job, according to media sources.

They were working in the Baramulla area.

One of the officers, talking to NDTV, said that his house in Sopore was attacked, which is one of the main reasons behind his decision to resign.

Both officers were associated with the the Special Operations Group of police that carries out anti-militancy operations in the state, according to local sources.
