Class 1 boy dies after being beaten by class 3 student in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 17 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a six-year-old boy died four days after he was beaten by a seven year-old, who was his senior at a school in Hyderabad's upmarket area, media reports said.

The victim identified as Mohammed Ibrahim, a class one student, suffered serious injuries after being beaten by another boy of class 3.

Both studied in the same school known as Promising Scholars School at IAS Colony in Tolichowki.

The incident happened on July 12 and Ibrahim died on Saturday in a hospital.

Ibrahim's father has lodged a complaint with the police alleging negligence on part of school authorities

A case has been registered against the class 3 boy and the police is now conducting a probe.
