Delhi: Cab driver assaulted by Africans following dispute
New Delhi, May 30 (IBNS) Amid news of racial attacks on African nationals by Indians, a cab driver in Delhi was allegedly beaten up by six African men on Monday, following a dispute, reports said.
The incident occurred in Mehrauli in South Delhi, after the cabbie refused to take in more than four people.
He suffered bruises and cuts near his left eye.
The attack came a day prior to Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj's meeting with African students in connection with the recent attacks on their community.
