Jaitley to visit J&K, will review security situation

New Delhi, June 14 (IBNS): Defence Minister Arun Jaitley is all set review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir during his two-day visit to the state that starts on Saturday.
This will be his his first visit to the state after assuming office.
 
His visit comes a day after a major ceasefire violation took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mendhar sector of the state.
 
Reacting to his visit J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah earlier tweeted: "Is it just a coincidence that the Defence Minister is visiting J&K, for his 1st visit, to review the security situation tomorrow? #ceasefire."
