Odd-even rule violation: Paresh Rawal fined Rs. 2000
Calling his mistake a serious 'blunder', Rawal apologised to people of Delhi and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
"Made a serious blunder by travelling in a odd number car to parliament ... Sorry to Arvind ji n Delhiite," Rawal tweeted.
The Parliament witnessed a rare scene on Monday when lawmakers discussed the odd-even rules which is currently applicable in Delhi.
Several lawmakers said the rule should not apply to them.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad should b exempted from the rule during the Parliament session.
He said: "Lawmakers should be exempted from the rule just for this Parliament session."
According to reports, several parliamentarians violated the rule on Monday.
Delhi is currently following the second phase of the odd-even scheme.
