Kolkata, Apr 20 (IBNS) Expelled CPI-M leader turned Trinamool Congress poll candidate Rezzak Mollah has questioned the lifestyle of actress turned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Roopa Ganguly, triggering an outrage from all quarters.

Speaking to Bengali news channel ABP Ananda, Mollah said about the BJP candidate from Howrah North: "I know how long is the size of the cigarette she smokes or with whom she lives in."

"How much she is Draupadi we all know," said Mollah taking a jibe at Ganguly who earned fame as an actress when she had bagged the role of Draupadi in B R Chopra's Mahabharat aired on Indian television since 1988.

The remarks followed his earlier remarks on film actors turned TMC leaders Moonmoon Sen and Dev, both belonging to the party he has joined.

Reacting to the remarks, Roopa Ganguly said it is in absolute bad taste and that "she is not surprised coming it from a TMC leader."

Rezzak Mollah recently joined TMC and is a candidate from Bhangar Assembly constituency in South 24 Parganas district.
