Narendra Modi meets Belgian PM Charles Michel

Brussels, Mar 30 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and interacted with Belgian PM Charles Michel on Wednesday.

"Working together with an imp partner in Europe. PM @narendramodi & Belgian PM @CharlesMichel hold restricted talks," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

He was earlier given ceremonial honours.

Modi also met select members of the European and Belgian Parliaments for first engagement of day.

Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to the victims of the militant attacks in Brussels city.

He placed wreaths and paid his homage to the victims of the attack at Malbeek Metro station.

Malbeek Metro station was one of the targets of the attacks which left more than 30 people killed in the European city last week.

"In remembrance of those men and women who lost their lives due to mindless violence in Brussels," PMO India tweeted.

Modi is currently visiting  Belgium.
