Alok Kumar Verma takes charge as Delhi's new Commissioner
New Delhi, Feb 29 (IBNS) Senior IPS officer Alok Kumar Verma has taken charge as the Commissioner of Delhi Police on Monday.
He stepped into the shoes of B S Bassi.
Verma took charge at a time when the national capital witnessed tensed moments over the JNU row.
"Delhi's new Commissioner of Police Sh. Alok Verma received by the Guard of Honour at Police Head Quarters," the Delhi Police tweeted.
