Bangalore, Nov 25 (IBNS) Congress Vice -President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday thanked the students of Mount Carmel College for a 'spirited conversation'.

Gandhi said he 'tremendously' enjoyed the day while he visited the college.

"Thank you Mt Carmel for the spirited conversation today. I enjoyed my day tremendously," Office of RG tweeted.

"More power to the bright young women who questioned, debated, &engaged important issues. You were brilliant," read another tweet.

Gandhi on Wednesday faced a tough situation  when his question to students of a Bangalore college on whether PM Narendra Modi's "Clean India" campaign is working or not was met with a resounding 'yes'.

The incident happened when Gandhi was interacting with students at Mount Carmel College.

When Gandhi asked them whether the government's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'  was working, most of the students present at the venue answered 'yes'.

He again asked the students whether Narendra Modi-led government's 'Make in India' campaign was working and then he again received similar response.

Gandhi said: "You might see it I don't."

He said he could not see the BJP government was working with a clear vision.
