Kolkata: Arrested ISI spy sent to police custody till Nov 29

Kolkata, Nov 15 (IBNS): A local court in Kolkata on Sunday sent arrested ISI (Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence) agent Akhtar Khan to police custody for 14 days.

The suspected ISI spy- Akhtar Khan alias Raju- was held by Kolkata Police's Special Task Force (STF) on Saturday from central Kolkata.

Several documents, including Pakistan's bank's ATM card, few passports of different countries and fake Indian currency notes (FICN) worth Rs 1,72,500, were recovered from him.

After charging him under IPC sections 120-B, 121, 121-A, 122, 489-B and 489-C, police produced Akhtar Khan before the Bankshall Court on Sunday afternoon and the judge sent him to police custody till Nov 29 for further interrogation.

He will be produced to the court again on Nov 29.
