India Blooms News Service | | 21 Oct 2015, 12:37 pm
Gurgaon, Oct 21 (IBNS) A student was beaten to death allegedly by the DJs at a birthday party in Gurgaon after a dispute over choice of music being played.

Reports quoted police as saying that the  party was organised in Gurgaon's Subhash Nagar area on Monday.

Rohit, a BBA student and a resident of Krishna Colony, was at the party with his friends. A group of people wanted to dance to their own choice of songs and reportedly asked Rohit to leave the dance floor.

The argument led to a fight and Rohit was beaten with hockey sticks and rods.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state but was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Police have detained a few people over the incident.
