Sheena Bora: Mumbai Police quiz Indrani's ex-boyfriend in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 2 (IBNS): A team of the Mumbai Police on Wednesday interrogated Siddhartha Das, the ex-boyfriend of ex-Star India Chief Peter Mukerjea's wife Indrani Mukerjea, in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case in Kolkata.

Siddhartha Das earlier claimed that he was the biological father of Sheena and Mikhail on Tuesday.

Two official of Mumbai Police reached Siddhartha Das' residence at Durga Nagar area, a suburb of Kolkata on Wednesday late evening. They questioned Siddhartha for almost two hours.

After interrogation, Siddhartha Das told the media that he had given a written statement to the police.

A Mumbai Police official told IBNS: "We will check and compare the statements of Siddhartha and Indrani. He will be interrogated in future if needed. Siddhartha Das told us that he is ready to co-operate in the investigation."

The Mumbai Police had earlier seized laptops and bank documents of Indrani's first husband Sanjeev Khanna from his friend's residence in Kolkata's Alipore area on Wednesday afternoon.

Media tycoon Peter Mukerjea on Wednesday recorded  his statement with the Mumbai police on the murder of his step-daughter Sheena Bora.
