New Delhi, Aug 30 (IBNS) Hours after the JD (U)-RJD-Congress tri-party rally in Bihar attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday, IT and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad took to Twitter to slam the leaders of their respective parties.
In a series of tweets directed towards Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, the minister expressed his thoughts and posed several questions.
“I want to know what has @laluprasadrjd done for industrialization of Bihar? How many Yadavs got employment during his reign?” he wrote, directing it towards RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
While addressing the rally Nitish Kumar said, “Modi says it is Jungle Raj in Bihar but we have law-abiding governance over here."
Questioning Nitish’s claim, the IT Minister posted: “There has been a significant rise in crime in Bihar and reduction in investments in last couple of years. People should ask @NitishKumar.”
Poking fun at Sonia Gandhi and her ‘Swabhiman Rally’, he wrote: “This was not Swabhiman Rally but #ApmanRally which insulted the people of #Bihar.”
The Congress supremo, Sonia Gandhi had earlier also raised an issue about the continuous cease-fire violations at the border and PM Modi's motive of the same.
Prasad while defending his party wrote: “During his visit to Pakistan border, Rahul Gandhi instead of criticizing Pakistan for cease fire violation was questioning the Indian govt.”
The JD (U) has combined with Lalu Prasad's RJD and the Congress to resist the BJP.
