LG Mallika-e-Kitchen 2015 season 7 East Zone winners announced

Kolkata, Dec 16 (IBNS) LG Electronics India has announced the winners of its first zonal round of its pan-India cooking contest, LG Mallika-E-Kitchen 2015.
The first round of the East Zone was hosted in the vibrant city of Kolkata at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Salt Lake.

Aimed at creating awareness and encouraging Indian women to adopt the smarter and healthier way of microwave cooking, the contest was welcomed by amateur chefs and elicited participation from across 100 cities across India. 

The contest has been conceptualized to provide a national platform to Indian women to showcase their culinary talent.

Winners of the East zone will now compete with contestants of other zones for the title of Mallika-e-Kitchen Cooking Queen 2015 at the Grand Finale in Chandigarh on Dec 22.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Sharan, Regional Manager LG Electronics said, “The response has been tremendous from the East Zone. It was a tough competition and all the three winners really worked hard to earn their place. With this we have successfully completed the East Zone round of LG Mallika-e-Kitchen 2015. Mallika-e-Kitchen is an endeavor to promote healthy cooking talents in India. This contest gives us an opportunity to directly reach out to consumers and get feedback and suggestions for future innovations.”

He further added, “The phenomenal response we have continuously received for this contest over the last six years is encouraging and has prompted us to develop and offer the latest and best innovative technologies to our customers basis the insights garnered through this platform.”
