Chennai, Sep 21 (IBNS) : Fuelling mass eagerness, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived at the residence of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan on Thursday for a meeting days after the actor and fimmaker hinted that he may join or launch a political party, media reports said.

Kamal Hassan has recently said that he is not in a haste,  if Rajnikanth enters politics, he will join hands with him.

Reports suggest the two are likely to hold “political discussions”

Kejriwal is likely to visit a state-run skill development centre during his short visit to Chennai.

In an interview with news website The Quint on Thursday, Haasan referred to the sorry state of affairs in the state’s ruling AIADMK after the death of its leader J Jayalalithaa last year.

“This is the right time for me to come into active politics because everything that can possibly go wrong is going wrong,” he said.

“We need better governance. I am not promising swift remedies. But I promise to start the process of change.”
