India registers 2,124 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, 17 deaths

New Delhi: India registered 2,124 new COVID-19 in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate touched 0.46 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

During the same  period, 17 people died due to the viral infection.

India's active caseload currently stands at 14,971.

Active cases stand at 0.033 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.75 percent.

1,977 people have recovered from the disease so far.
