Uttarakhand: 4.5 earthquake hits Pithoragarh, no causality reported

Dehradun/IBNS: Panic gripped Uttarakhand on Tuesday after a 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit the state.

Epicentred in Pithoragarh, it had a depth of 10 km.

India Meteorological Department said the tremors occurred at 0730 hrs.

People fled out of their homes in panic. 

No casualty has been reported so far.
