6.1 earthquake hits Japan
Tokyo, Apr 1 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter Scale hit Japan's Mie-ken Nanto-oki region on Friday, officials said.
The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 33.4 degrees north and longitude 134.6 degrees east,
Japan Meteorological Agency website said.
The quake was felt at 11:39 local time.
No casualty has been reported so far.
