Mahindra Holidays appoints Kavinder Singh as CEO & MD

Mumbai, Sept 29 (IBNS): The Board of Directors of leisure hospitality brand Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited,on Monday announced the appointment of Kavinder Singh as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director (CEO & MD).
His appointment will be effective from his date of joining, which is likely to be in the first week of November 2014.
 
Kavinder Singh brings 28 years of experience in the FMCG sector having worked in Asian Paints, ITC and Pidilite Industries.  
 
At ITC, he was responsible for setting up and successfully building their biscuits business.
 
Arun Nanda, Chairman, Mahindra Holidays said, “I am delighted to have Kavinder come on board.  With his rich consumer experience, he will help take the Company to its next phase of growth and create more magical moments for our 172,000 Club Mahindra members.”
 
Kavinder Singh said, “I am looking forward to joining Mahindra Holidays and contributing to the growth of the business. I believe leisure hospitality is at an inflection point and Club Mahindra is suitably positioned to benefit substantially by setting world class benchmarks in hospitality and vacation experiences.”
