Indian market closes higher on Monday

Mumbai, Apr 30 (IBNS): Key Indian benchmark indices ended higher on Monday with BSE Sensex up 190.66 points at 35,160.36 and NSE Nifty up 47.10 points at 10,739.40.

Positive global cues were largely led to the uptick. reports said.

Tip gainers on Monday included Yes Bank, TCS, HUL, Kotak Mahindra, L&T and Asian Paints while Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Coal India Reliance, UPL, Bharti Infratel and GAIL were some of the key stocks that declined.
