Indian market closes lower on Tuesday

Mumbai, Nov 7 (IBNS): Te Indian market closed lower on Tuesday, with BSE Sensex down 360.43 points at 33,370.76 and NSE Nifty down 101.60 points at 10,350.20.

Market reports attributed the decline partly to the fact that rising crude oil prices may impact fiscal deficit and raw material cost of companies dependent on oil.

Top gainers included TCS, HCL Tech, Infoysys, Wipro, Kotak Mahindra, HPCL and ITC while Lupin, Cipla, BHEL, SBI, Bharti Airtel, idea Cellular and Tata Motors (D) declined.
