Indian market ended higher on Tuesday

Mumbai, Jul 11 (IBNS): The Indian equity market closed higher on Tuesday with BSE Sensex was up 31.45 points at 31,747.09 and NSE Nifty was up 15 points at 9,786.05.

However, a part of the gains were erased during the day with profit booking by investors.

Top gainers included Baja Auto, Hindalco, Tata Motors, NTPC, M&M and Infosys while top losers included Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Wipro, Coal India and ONGC.
