Bangalore, June 21 (IBNS): CoreNet Global, the professional association for the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) industry, concluded its fourth annual India conference on Wednesday.

Themed ‘Corporate Real Estate in India – Unfolding the Future’, the conference highlighted India's potential in the CRE space in 2017.

The conference brought together top industry professionals and business leaders to discuss industry trends that are unfolding from private and public perspectives.

CoreNet Global – India chapter Co-Chairs Ram Chandnani (CBRE) & Shamsher Sindhu (Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.), oversaw an engaging conference that highlighted key developments such as new workplace environments, the role of robotics and digital disruption – and how these can drive offices of the future to stay relevant in evolving markets.

During the event, participants at the conference disclosed how employees from around the world feel that an emphasis on creating memorable experiences at the workplace will transform the industry.

This involves putting people at the center of workplace design and focusing on human experiences such as Engagement, Empowerment and Fulfillment more than ever. Also tackled was the rise of AI and robotics at the workplace and what this means for elevating human workers to the perfect spaces to innovate and communicate better. This was one of the many sessions at the conference where experts painted a picture of the current scenario of CRE in India and what the future of work looks like.

The event also threw light on the rise of co-working spaces, especially in IT-dominant cities such as Bangalore and Hyderabad, which are becoming the workplace of choice for many new-age organizations. With a constant race for talent brewing in this industry, workplaces that are aligned with human experiences will play a more prominent role.

Subsequent sessions also shed further light on how industries are undergoing digital transformation in the 21st century, and how that is impacting the working environments and spaces that organizations are offering their employees. By the end of the conference, all participants and guests were appreciative of how the India chapter of this conference by CoreNet Global plays an indispensable role in expanding their network to reach CRE professionals in India and deliver impact on the real estate industry.

The conference was also host to plenty of key discussions and interactions on how CRE can help to engineer progress and drive business growth against a backdrop of a dynamically evolving economic environment.
