Key Indian benchmark indices close lower on Thursday
Mumbai, Jun 15 (IBNS): The Indian market closed negative on Thursday with BSE Sensex down 80.18 points at 31075.73 and NSE Nifty down 44.30 points at 9573.85.
Key stocks that gained were Reliance, Wipro, Cipla, Dr reddy's Labs and Sun Pharma while TCS, L&T, ONGC, M&M, and Coal India declined.
The GST Council is scheduled to hold its 17th meeting on Sunday in New Delhi, which will be chaired by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
