Kolkata, Apr 15 (IBNS): Volvo Cars unveiled inflatable child seat concept on Tuesday which aims at providing a solution to the bulky car seats bothering children till now.

The ground breaking technology using which Volvo Cars has designed the light weight, rearward-faced child-seat concept assures safe and easy packing and carriage apart from enabling parents to use it in situations unfavorable for  seats on the market today.

Lawrence Abele, Design Manager at the Volvo Monitoring and Concept Center in Los Angeles and the designer behind the new seat, shared his experiences regarding uncomfortable child seats and prioritized child safety.

The concept caters to multiple needs like the need of an ultra mobile seat for kin and aged family members as well as provides convenience in traveling by taxi, rental car or bus.

The concept provides benefits like efficient, silent innovative pump system including remote controlled inflation besides Bluetooth enabling a host of features.

The unique drop-stitch fabrics can be brought to high internal pressure due to its strength.

Keeping in mind the delicate structure of a child’s neck, the concept faces the rear of the car reducing chances of enormous strain on a child’s neck in a frontal impact collision.

Lawrence, stating the importance of rear seats in a car, mentioned his goal of providing safety and encouraged customers to be exposed to the design.
